The Pearson BTEC Level 3 National Diploma in Sport​ is equivalent in size to two A-Levels. It is for students interested in learning about a variety of elements within the sport sector alongside other fields of study, with a view to progressing to a wide range of HE sport courses, or work/apprenticeships in the sports industry.

Study of sport particularly encourages the development of skills and behaviours such as teamwork, leadership, performance analysis, resilience, evaluation, analysis and synthesising concepts.
